Beneficiaries

The Rotary Club of Henderson is proud to be able to support a number of organisations. Below is a list of recent beneficiaries of the club:

 

 

Waitakere Hospital

Since 2004 a recreation and rehabilitation area was established for the children. Further work around the hospital has seen the establishment of seating, sculptures and gardens upgraded. All up the cost for materials, soil, bark, concrete, playground slide, seating, concreting and man-hours amounts to approximately $100,000.00.

West Auckland Hospice

Donations amounting to $25,000 (including the West City Christmas Gift wrap gold coin donation $8,000.00). The monies have been allocated to improving facilities and providing care givers materials for home visits.

Ranui Primary School – Books in Homes (Alan Duff)

$2500.00pa for 3 years has been approved by the Directors. So far one payment has been presented.

Rotary Dictionaries in Schools for 9 year olds.

So far Henderson South Primary School has received their allocation and shortly Ranui primary School will receive theirs. ($2800.00)

Rotary Emergency Boxes

Rotary Emergency Boxes - 4 @ $1500.00 each paid for to replenish supplies for major catastrophes around the World. Used in Myanmar.

Don Oliver Trust for Youth in the West

$2000.00 for the Youth in sport.
