About the Campaign:
This Christmas, help us help rough sleepers and less fortunate members of our community, who will struggle at a time where festivities revolve around family. We are accepting donations up to the 22 December, aiming to make drop offs to homeless people around West Auckland and Central Auckland on Christmas Eve.
This campaign is based on a successful programme running in Australia for the last few years where the public donates items which are put into backpacks which are then distributed to the homeless community.
We’ve been talking to several service agencies which work with the homeless community as to what they need most over the Christmas period. The results include items like personal hygiene items, snacks and treats.
How You Can Help:
Donations of Physical Items:
We’ve put together some lists of suggested pack contents and we’re happy to accept donations of any of the items in these lists, or other items which you think might be suitable. Please be mindful that things like canned items or items which need cooking aren’t suitable for donation. We will however pass on any items of this nature to local charities like foodbanks.

You can donate any amount but here are some suggested donation amounts and what they buy:
$36.00 Toiletries Pack:
Consists of Face Wipes, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Lip Balm, Deodorant, Moisturiser, Dry Shampoo
$26.00 Goodies Pack:
Consists of Drink bottle, socks, towel, skittles, party mix, chocolate bar
$20.00 or $10.00 or other amount:
Warehouse or Supermarket Voucher
All donations of over $5.00 are tax deductible and we will supply a receipt upon request.
