Christmas Parade 2011

The Henderson Rotary Christmas Parade is a project of the Rotary Club of Henderson which has organized this event annually since 2002.

The Parade attracts some 9,000-10,000 people from West Auckland and is a favourite for families and their children.

Last year 700-800 people took part in the parade as Walking Groups and on Floats representing Community Groups, Schools, Sports Clubs, Churches, Youth Organizations and Businesses, everyone, even animals are welcome.

Entries can make their own fun, they can sing, dance, or bring a band as long as they represent a Christmas Theme in their decorations.

The Parade includes Brass and Pipe Bands, Clowns and other Fun Characters.

 Date:  Saturday 26th November, 2011
 Assembly:  At the Falls Hotel car park
 Floats & Trailers:
  9:00am
 Walking Groups:
  9:30am
 Parade starts:
  10:30am sharp
 Cost:  There is no cost to take part.
 Parade route:
  Under 1KM long, on level ground.
